Sequel to House of 1000 Corpse....Like its earlier movie, Devil's Rejects is blood splurting gore as frequent as burps after Coke. When one person dies, you will be like "Whoh I wouldnt wan to go that way"...But in the next scene where another character goes in another nastier way, you wouldnt mind dying like the previous one. HaHa...Mind Fuck...Yep Rob Zombie is very good at that...The Crash scene and the Knife scene...fails to escape my wormy brain...In no way I am saying this movie is a must-watch...cos its not..its just pure fun for people who is slightly perverse (like me) but dun have enough balls to actualli do it (like the recent news Hoo-Haas) Posted by Picasa

Ok...Video Therapy time.
1. Casino
This is a Martin Scorsese movie back in 1995. I remembered wanting to watch it very much back then but it was R(A) and I was like friggin 11 years old. But now, haha, I got the movie as it was re-rated as M18. Hello Sharon Stone.
2. Unfaithful
Adrian Lyne stuff. The guy who made Fatal Attraction and Indecent Proposal. Very sexually charged but at the same time handled a delicate topic well. The in-your-face after-marriage-go-screw-around-will-get-you-killed message is, in-your-face. Hello naked Diane Lane.
3. Fargo
Another movie rated R(A) back in 1996, this is a crime thriller brought to us by the Coen Brothers recently famous for The Ladykillers and Intolerable Cruelty. Heh..Its basically about a extortion plan gone wrong. Since it stars William H Macy I presume it will go reali reali wrong. It involves a pregnant sheriff who incidently got the Oscar Best Actress for Fargo in 1996.
4. Midnight Cowboy
I'm not too sure bout this as its a movie made 15 years before two particular cells of my parents collided. Anyway, it was a hoo-haa in the past as the only X-Rated movie to garner a Best Picture Oscar. Now its onli M18 I guess I jus wan to check out what the controversy is all about and perhaps poke fun at those conservative people back then. Then again, Deepthroat was showing in theatres back then. Well, whatever. I bought this so I can buy Fargo at 2 for $18.80.

Let's go to the Movies

Red Eye is perhaps the best Wes Craven movie since Scream. This movie has a hint of Phone Booth with its situational progression plot and real-time play out. Towards the climax it has Scream type of thrills and gasping for air excitement. I guess this movie would not have been such a success if not for Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy. They acted very well in their respective roles. The plot is also very interesting as it appeared to be a romantic movie when it started about two strangers' chance encounter at the airport. Then terror sets in haha. Sibei Goodish...
