So far, all I have been trying to do is to

stop myself from recovering

from the state I got myself into.

This Hour:

1. I wanted to scan people's faces as a photo series

2. Man in a Snow Globe just screened today at The Singapore Short Film Awards (Not In Competition). It is screening again coming Monday for First Takes (Feb), alongside 4 other films of which 3, are friends'. It is more significant to me that, this said film is my first PG film. Remarkable for a fucked-up like me.

3. Really keen on the Art Therapy at SGH. But what do I have to offer?

看得懂嗎？這塵埃堆疊呼應的層次。

美感是肉眼的錯覺。

大小是距離的交代。

放棄堅持，可能有如同畫一般，

是一起美麗的意外。

想要的一橫，下筆的一橫，

兩者之間具有渺小的偏差，

最終的畫卻默默背負著

龐大，無盡的傷害。

表面上看起來則別來無恙。

In retrospect, what the fuck am I trying to do?

From the final day of Three Days Grace set:

I saw the sundown literally.

How the hues of the sunlight changes rapidly from orange to pinkish

and then going darker and darker. It was quite breathtaking to see

this in Singapore.

While I stood in awe, taking in the natural phenomenon of the painterly sky,

it suddenly struck me that I should take a picture.

I wanted to share the beauty of this sight with someone, anyone.

But obviously I was too late in doing so.

I am always too late.

I took this picture sometime in Oct or Nov 09.

This picture shows branches that is being raised up towards the sun

being fed and held proudly by the main trunk that is perpetually supporting all these branches.

The branches grow rich and glorious.

I, too, wanna dedicate this picture to Michael's Dad and my Grandma.

After 2009 ended, I noticed for the first time.

My cactus grew.
