There is this part of our building near the entrance where 2 planes of the building almost join but didn't. This resulted in a narrow gap between the glass and a very nice place to take pictures is born. The reflections created onto both panels of the glass is amazing. When taken with a good camera the effect is quite extraordinary. The above are examples and the top picture and the one featuring me are taken by Davier. For more professional shots by Davier you may follow the link to his website on the left. His pictures are USUALLY awesome.
This is Aunty. I looked at this picture and I think I look more like her son than Saywei lor.

The original picture depicts a rather magnificant scene of a natural bridge. It evokes a sense of awe for everyone who sees this image.
By adding a graphic element, which is the waterfall in the background, the whole image is now more breathtaking compared to the original. There is a stronger sense of natural beauty and awe.
By adding a graphic element, which is a yellow picture frame, the viewer is now reminded that the whole image is nothing more than a 2 dimensional picture which is not real. The sense of awe which is obtained when viewing the original image alone is taken away with the introduction of the picture frame. The choice of a mismatched colour makes it all the more unnatural.
